Licensed and Bonded

With Travel Department you can rest assured that, when booking your holiday, you do so safe in the knowledge that we are fully licensed and bonded.

Travel Department in the Republic of Ireland holds a Tour Operator’s Licence (T.O. 0163) and a Travel Agent’s Licence (T.A. 0692) issued by the Irish Aviation Authority and, as a requirement, have approved secured bonds in place. Travel Department in the UK holds an Air Travel Organisers’ Licence (ATOL 9373).

This means that when you book a holiday with us that includes a flight you can be entirely confident that, in the unlikely event of our insolvency before or during your holiday, any money you have paid to us is fully secured and that, if you are overseas, full arrangements will be made to repatriate you at the end of your holiday.
