Upon arrival in Bergen, we will be met by our local representative in the airport for our transfer to our hotel. The rest of our day is at leisure to relax & explore our surroundings.
Bergen
Half Day Guided Walking Tour of Bergen
We start our morning with a half-day walking tour of Bergen, a quaint city full of colourful houses and cobbled streets. Join our guide as we walk along the famous UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf, home to a collection of stunning Hanseatic buildings before making our way to the Fløibanen Funicular, a must-see experience in Bergen. We will ascend to the top of Mount Fløyen where we can marvel at the panoramic views of Bergen and its surroundings.

This afternoon is at leisure for shopping or sightseeing of your choice. Our local guide will be happy to recommend further activities and places of interest to explore.
Mostraumen Fjord
Mostraumen Fjord Cruise
Following a leisurely breakfast, we will embark on a half day cruise of the Mostraumen Fjord (approximately 4 hours). This incredible tour takes us along the 27-kilometer-long Osterfjord. We'll sail up close to a waterfall to sample some of the ice-cold mountain water before we head back to Bergen, all while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The boats are modern and comfortable and are equipped with sundecks and kiosks offering refreshments for purchase, including beer and wine.

Upon our return to Bergen this afternoon we will have more free time at our leisure to explore the city at our own pace.
Hardangerfjord & Lofthus
Bergen to Lofthus via Hardangerfjord
This morning, we leave bustling Bergen and travel by coach to Lofthus through the scenic & tranquil Hardanger region. Hardangerfjord is Norway's second largest fjord and most picturesque. Once sailed upon by Vikings, it boasts features such as glaciers and waterfalls. En-route we will stop at Steindalsfossen waterfall to stretch our legs and admire the cascading waters. We continue on to cross the famous Hardanger Bridge before arriving at our hotel in Lofthus. (Total distance approx. 160km)

Flam & Naeroyfjord
Lofthus to Gudvangen & Naeroyfjord Cruise
Let’s explore more this morning on another scenic coach journey as we make our way to Gudvangen taking in the natural beauty of western Norway. We will stop at Stegastein Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Fjord before arriving in Gudvangen, the gateway to the Naeroyfjord. (Total distance approx. 150km)
Naeroyfjord Fjord Cruise
This afternoon we will experience an unforgettable two-hour fjord cruise along the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nærøyfjord. Sailing down the deep blue water with towering mountain peaks looming over us we’ll take in the breathtaking scenery where every season leaves its own unique touch on the fjord landscape. Our cruise will finish at the beautiful village of Flam, where we will enjoy dinner together and spend the night in our hotel.
Flam, Myrdal to Oslo
Full Day excursion Flam Railway, Myrdal to Oslo
We check out of our hotel this morning leaving our luggage to be transferred separately to our hotel in Oslo as we board the famous Flam Railway on a scenic journey to Myrdal. The Flam Railway is one of the world's most beautiful and steepest normal-gauge railway lines. Over the course of an hour the train takes us from sea level at Sognefjord to the Myrdal mountain station, situated 867m above sea level and will include a stop at the beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall.
Upon our arrival Myrdal we will board another train to Oslo enjoying views of mountains, lush valleys and flowing rivers along the way. (Journey time approx. 5.5 hours) As we travel to the city we can sit back & relax taking in some of Norway's wildest and most magnificent scenery along the route.
This evening, we will enjoy our included meal at our hotel in Oslo where we will be staying for two nights.
Oslo
Half Day Guided Walking Tour of Oslo
Following breakfast this morning we’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of Oslo – The Tiger City. Our tour will give us an overview of the city's most important historic and cultural landmarks, including the Akershus Fortress, Karl Johan Street, the magnificent Parliament of Norway and the Royal Palace.

Enjoy an afternoon to explore Oslo at our own pace! Take this opportunity to visit some of the museums, take in some last-minute shopping, or just relax. Our guide will be able to suggest activities to suit your interests.
Return Home
Depart Norway
Today we say farewell to Norway as we transfer from our hotel to the airport for flight home to Dublin.
