Join us on this relaxing solo traveller holiday to the Côte d'Azur in the south of France. On our French Riviera itinerary, we’ll enjoy a half day walking tour of Nice and take a stroll along the famous ‘Promenade des Anglais’ which stretches for 7km along the beach. We’ll take a full day excursion to Antibes, explore the renowned Old Town and the Millionaires’ Quay. Here, we can also visit the Musée Picasso, the first museum in the world dedicated to Picasso which has over 250 of his pieces on display, and the Naval Museum of Napoleon. Experience the lifestyle of the rich and famous in Cannes, home to the prestigious annual film festival, dine or shop ‘til you drop along the Boulevard de la Croisette. There will be plenty of free time for sightseeing or to take an optional excursion to Monaco & Monte Carlo, or you can simply sit back, relax on one of the many beautiful beaches and enjoy your short holiday to the south of France.

Arrive in Nice
Welcome to France! Upon arrival to Nice airport, you will be met by our local representative in the airport before being transferred to your hotel located in the centre of Nice. This evening enjoy a welcome drink at your hotel and get to know your fellow travellers.
Nice
Nice Walking Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Nice. With year-round sunshine, colourful architecture and sparkling water, this city is truly a gem on the French Riviera. During your tour, experience many of Nice's cultural attractions including a colourful flower market and the beachside Promenade des Anglais, named after the earliest English visitors to the area. You will also see the elegant baroque churches, the opera house and the winding streets of the Old Town of Nice.
At Leisure
Have the afternoon at leisure to further explore Nice at your own pace. Shop, sightsee or take a trip to the nearby beach. Your guide will be able to suggest activities to suit your interests.
At Leisure or Optional Excursion to Monaco
At Leisure
Today have a day at leisure to enjoy the delights of Nice. Maybe take a walk to the top of Nice’s hill fortress and admire the views of the Promenade des Anglais or go visit the Musée Matisse home to a range of paintings by the painter Henri Matisse.
Optional Excursion to Monaco & Monte Carlo
Why not further explore the French Riviera on our optional pre-bookable excursion to Monaco & Monte Carlo? Drive the scenic route to the Monaco via the stunning landscape of la Turbie, used by Princess Grace of Monaco to return from the family’s country residence in Roc Agel. Then you will arrive into the principality of Monaco and enjoy a walking tour of Monaco old town. In the afternoon, you will visit the area of Monte Carlo, home to Monte Carlo’s casino and the world-famous Monaco Grand Prix. You will have some free time to visit the area before returning to Nice via the beautiful hillside village of Eze, known for its stunning views and winding, medieval streets.
Antibes & Cannes
Half Day Guided Excursion to Antibes & Cannes
Today, enjoy a half day excursion to Antibes, which is renowned for its Old Town and the famous Millionaire’s Quay. The town was founded as a 5th century Greek colony due to its naturally protected port and it has historically been an important trade centre. Today the port offers beautiful views over the Cote d’Azur and the city itself is home to a number of noted museums including the Picasso Museum and the Naval Museum of Napoleon. Afterwards continue to Cannes, home to the iconic Cannes Film Festival. See the sites frequented by the rich & famous, such as the Boulevard de Croisette or Le Suquet, the old town of Cannes, which overlooks the bay. Have some free time to enjoy this vibrant town before returning to Nice.

Free Time in Nice
Today, you will have a day free to relax and take in some further sightseeing at your own pace. You might like to spend some time in the town centre and pick up some souvenirs. Afterwards, enjoy a cool drink outside one of the small bars that line the beach or old town, and watch the world go by. A final evening of indulgence will be the perfect way to say “au revoir” to the French Riviera.
Return Home
Depart France
Time to return home after a memorable trip. You will be transferred to the airport with guide assistance for your flight home.
