We’ll take in the stunning highlights of this fantastic city including the UNESCO listed Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. We’ll also enjoy plenty of free time to relax on one of the beautiful surrounding beaches or to explore this enthralling city at our own pace. You will be met by our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport before being transferred to your hotel.

Guided City Tour of Lisbon
After breakfast we explore the capital city Lisbon. Our expert local guide will take us on a panoramic tour of the city’s highlights, including the main avenues and squares of Marques de Pombal, Liberty Avenue and Rossio. Also included is the Belém district where you can find the Jerónimos church (viewed from the outside) and photo stops at the Tower of Belém and the Discoveries Monument.
Free Time at Leisure
You will then have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the city at your own pace. Your guide will be happy to suggest activities to suit your interests.

Free Time in Lisbon
Today is free to spend as you wish. We recommend you make your way to Sintra , a lovely town with a luxuriant vegetation and unique monuments, where the Portuguese Royal family used to spend summer.
Optional Excursion - Sintra & Cascais
Enjoy a panoramic coastal drive past the town of Estoril before visiting the colourful fishing village and seaside resort of Cascais. Our journey continues to picturesque Sintra, where the Portuguese Royal family used to spend their summers; discover more on an orientation tour in the historic centre. Uncover more of Sintra’s charms, with time at leisure to walk through the winding medieval streets and savour the local pastries, “queijadas". For those who wish to explore more of this fairy-tale town, it is possible to return to Lisbon by train later in the afternoon (this will be at own expense).
