The French Riviera’s climate, coastline and picturesque towns and villages have attracted visitors for over two hundred years. Nice is one of the most sophisticated and enchanting towns in this spectacular region and serves as a great base to enjoy the beautiful beaches and other must-see highlights of the Cote d’Azur. On this 3-night city break, we’ll enjoy a tour of the Old Town of Nice, taking in elegant baroque churches, beautiful architecture and colourful marketplaces. Another exciting excursion will be to the quaint artist town of St. Paul-de-Vence, where we’ll spend time exploring its narrow, cobbled streets. This perfectly paced holiday also includes plenty of leisure time, to discover Nice at your own pace.

MorningAfter breakfast there will be a guided walking tour of Nice. The city boasts lots of cultural attractions including a colourful flower market and the Promenade des Anglais, named after the earliest English visitors to the area. You will also take in the elegant baroque churches, the opera house and the winding streets of the Old Town.

Full DayTake a day to explore at your own pace. Shop, sightsee or take a trip to the nearby beach. Alternatively your guide will be able to suggest activities to suit your interests.

Trip to St. Paul-de-Vence
MorningIn the afternoon you will travel to the hilltop village of St-Paul-de-Vence, which has been inspiration for artists past and present. At one time or another artists such as Marc Chagall, Samivel & Bernard-Henri Levy and Arielle Dombasle have all lived here. It is home to many contemporary art museums and galleries such as Fondation Maeght and the Musee de Saint Paul.
